Debit Card Debacle Oct 18, 2011, 8:57 am By Emily Haleck

After Bank of America’s late-September announcement that it will soon be imposing a $5 monthly debit card usage fee, Bank of American Fork has received scores of inquiries from customers who got the names of the two banks mixed up or who are concerned that Bank of American Fork will also start charging for debit card use.

Bank of American Fork has no plans to charge customers to use their debit cards; in fact, we reward customers for using their debit cards with our rewards checking account, which has one of the highest interest rates in the country.* This is just one of the many benefits people receive when banking with a community bank like Bank of American Fork.

So keep swiping your debit card and rest assured that you’ll continue receiving the low-cost, high-service experience you’ve come to expect with Bank of American Fork.
