Announcing Person-to-Person Payments Apr 05, 2012, 10:45 am By Emily Haleck

Bank of American Fork today rolled out TheWayiPay®, an online person-to-person payment service that allows customers to make secure payments from their checking account to nearly anyone with a U.S. bank account. Customers can pay virtually anyone using only the recipient’s name and email address.

TheWayiPay person-to-person payment service is available through Bank of American Fork’s online banking. Payments processed are deducted from a customer’s account electronically and deposited directly into the recipient’s bank account in one to three business days. There is a $1 fee per payment.

“We are excited to roll out this latest feature in our extensive suite of electronic banking products,” said Joshua Everton, eSolutions manager at Bank of American Fork. “TheWayiPay is a convenient option for consumers to pay each other without having to go through an expensive third-party processing system. Most banks don’t offer person-to-person payments, so Bank of American Fork is very pleased to be able to introduce this in-demand technology to our customers.”

TheWayiPay is a trademark of Jack Henry & Associates, Inc.
