Bank of American Fork announces new branch in Layton!

Today Bank of American Fork opened a new full-service branch in Layton, Utah, located at 476 W. Heritage Park Blvd, Ste. 100. The branch is the bank’s 13th branch and its first in Davis County.

The new office will be managed by Branch Manager Dale Smith and Operations Manager Laurie Criddle. Smith has been in the banking industry in Davis County for more than 30 years. Criddle, who has also been involved in the banking industry in Davis County, enjoys the feel of a community bank. Mike Adams, who has 20 years of banking experience, was hired as the mortgage loan officer, and enjoys forging new relationships with customers to establish trust.

An advisory board composed of three experienced community bankers has also been formed to assist Bank of American Fork in getting to know the community as it moves into Davis County. The advisory board includes long-time community leaders Ned Giles, Gary Wright and Jerry Stevenson.

“Bank of American Fork is looking forward to serving the people and businesses in the Layton area,” said Richard Beard, president and CEO of Bank of American Fork. “We already have a strong customer base in Davis County with people who know us and appreciate working with a locally-owned community bank. We hope our unique offering of big-city banking with small-town service will be valuable to this vibrant and growing area of Utah.”
