Bank of American Fork has been selected by the U.S. Small Business Administration as the most active third party 504 lender in the medium lender category, defined as financial institutions between $100 million and $1 billion, for FY 2012. Steve Winters, vice president and American Fork branch manager, accepted the award on behalf of the bank. This week is National Small Business Week and a list of Utah Small Business Week Award winners is available here.
“We’re a community bank and giving back to the community is important to us,” said Richard Gray, senior vice president of commercial and SBA lending at the bank. “The purpose of these SBA loans, like the 504 program, is to help small businesses develop and grow. These small businesses are important to the communities where we live and work.”
